About

Kate received her bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology & audiology from Iona College in 2009 and her master’s degree in communication disorders from Mercy College in 2011. Kate has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings including early intervention, outpatient office settings and schools. Kate is PROMPT level 1 trained, PECS level 1 trained and has also completed Natural Learning Environments Training and Family Coach/Mentor Coach trainings. Kate enjoys working with clients and their families to facilitate success across settings using a multidisciplinary approach. Kate is very passionate about her work and believes that although communication may look different for each individual, the ability to express one's thoughts is a fundamental right for all.
